To be a leader, one must first learn to serve others. As a leader, my top priority is to help the people I'm leading, serving them in any way I can and encouraging them to unlock their full potential. I believe that diligence and dependability are valuable traits, and I strive to apply these traits to my life every way I can, whether the task is completing a homework assignment or leading a project. It would be difficult to be a reliable leader without these traits, and without a reliable leader, it is nearly impossible to have a functional team. Ultimately, a leader is someone who demonstrates that they are hardworking and can be relied upon, as well as serving the interests of others above their own; they are both a role model and a servant to others.
